How to configure Filter Rules in Horde to automatically remove mails that are flagged as Spam?

1. After you have logged into your Horde webmail account, you will be presented with the interface below. Click on the Options icon at top of the screen.

2. You will be brought to the screen below. To proceed, click on Filters.

3. Replicate the settings on this screen. EnableApply filter rules upon logging on?

and then “Apply filter rules whenever INBOX is displayed?”. To simplify the process we will ignore the last two check boxes.

After you have replicated the settings, click on Save Options. Following that, click on the ‘Edit your filter rules’ link.

4. Click on the New Rule button.

5. Replicate the settings below and click on the Save button when you are done.

Now all emails which have already been determined as spam by our server level anti-spam software will be deleted from your mailbox.

6. Congratulations! You have just configured the email filter function to automatically delete emails with *****SPAM***** in the subject area before they reach your mailbox.
